SNEAK PEEK...

Here's a little sneak peek at the kiddos and their Halloween costumes. I'm so excited how Avery's turned out. Hudson's is handmade too, but not by me. My girlfriend, Melissa, bought the Ninja Turtle costume at a yard sale a few years ago. Hudson has tried it on atleast 10 times in the last 2 days. I think he likes it! We love Tarjay at my house! Avery has her first winter coat and hat and glove set. We also go the matching overalls for when she is out playing in the snow with her brother this winter.
Can you believe my girlfriend Angie? She is so creative. She whipped this cute little zebra outfit up for Avery this past week. I already had the zebra and pink bow that matched perfectly. And you can't beat the $1 zebra crocs from Wallie World!

IT'S THE GREAT PUMPKIN CHARLIE BROWN!

Last week we headed to the hay maze at a local business for the Hudson's pre-k field trip. The kids had a blast. We met up with cousin Dallon there too! Hudson and Dallon ran through the maze atleast a dozen times. I don't know where those boys get there energy, but I wish I had some of it!
There is my silly boy. Why does it have to be so difficult to get a cute picture?

Avery has discovered that she LOVES to brush her teeth. It is so cute when she walks around the house brushing her teeth.

Big brother is always helping her out too!

A little sneak peak...

Here is a little peak at what little Avie Lu is going to be for Halloween. Can you guess? Well she will be dressing up in a cute little dress with an apron like this if ( her mommy actually starts on it.) I should have just bought it online. I got this idea from "Lover Dover" on etsy. and Hudson is going to be a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. He is so excited! Pictures to come soon.

Little project

The kids and I spent the day shopping in KY yesterday. It was a day full of stores and bribery! I asked Hudson is he knew what that was and he said no, I said "good". It can work for a little while longer! :) We stopped at Michael's and I picked up this scrapbook paper and chipboard letters to complete this project. (Don't mind the chalkboard, I still need to paint the frame black.) I thought this was a sassy way of showing who has which hook. I did some decluttering before I took the picture because "K" and "H" had all of the hooks filled with backpacks and hats!

Don't forget it is Crainville Baptist church's annual craft fair this Saturday at 8 am. I will not be there because I am going to the Nashville Flea market (woot woot!), BUT if YOU are around you should check it out. I donated some bows and bow holders and this cute "Minnie Mouse" burp cloth that I embroidered. The prices are all reasonable and they have beautiful quilts that are handmade by the quilters in our church. There is also an awesome SIU rag quilt. I would love to have it. Maybe next year!

I'm in love....

I'm in love with this outfit that my girlfriend Angie made for Avery this past week! Isn't it the cutest ever???? And to think that girl was nervous about the top! IT'S ADORABLE!
And did I mention that the back says "Boo" and has a little frankenstein?
Little Avie Lu loved walking around in the pants. She just kept dancing around. She's my little girly girl!

Oh yeah, I'm also in LOVE with my new embroidery machine that my mamma bought me!
I love her so much. Happy early birthday & Christmas to me!

Can't wait to show you some projects I've been working on with this new beauty! I've actually been reading my manual. I think I'm going to have to make the girls (Avery, Sydne, & Mia some cute Christmas outfits!)

Peek-a-boo!

Look what Avery's been up to lately?

Into the her favorite cabinet she goes!

Hmmm...I wonder where she is hiding?

Peek-a-boo! Here she is! This is her favorite thing to do. But that's good because it keeps her busy when mommy is working in the kitchen!
Have a great day!

Monday night

Yup, it's Monday night so guess what's on the TV? You guessed it...FOOTBALL! Not a big fan. So I'm just sittin' here thinking about my little turkeys and how I can't wait to spend the day with them tomorrow.
"Too many cupcakes, too little time" This girl's shirt says it all. Hey...maybe we will bake something tomorrow.

Hudson comes up with the craziest ideas and explanations out of the blue. Tonight he told my mom and I that he is going fishing with his daddy tomorrow so he can't go to Darien's football game. Which in turn means that daddy can't help out with the football game because they will be fishing. He is a little stinker. This is his new art center ($14.99 from IKEA) and his drawing of us in the tent. I'm sure daddy is going to take this little fisherman out tomorrow. How could you say no to that cute face? And I'm sure while daddy and Hudson are fishing. This little girl and I will be playing babies or maybe we will cook something in her "kitchen". Papa bought little Avie a metal pot & pan set and she LOVES the way it sounds when she is playing.

How are you going to spend your day tomorrow?

Chapman weekend recap

Well we have had an eventful weekend full of fun. We started Friday night off going out to eat to Mackie's Pizza. We LOVE the Saluki special pizza and I LOVE the greek salad they have, BUT (there is always a BUT) Hudson always misbehaves when we go there. It's like as soon as he hits the door he has to be doing everything we tell him not to do. He didn't do as bad as prior experiences and he ate well so.....we headed down RT #13 to the SI Bowl. Of course, Hudson stills tells us this is where his papa works (he did a few years ago). And he loves going there and bowling. I don't know if you can check out the score on the screen, but my five year old son and I have the same score! 109 I think we may have a bowler in our fam or I'm just that bad????
It rained practically ALL day on Friday, so when Saturday came Hudson was ready to hit the yard playing. Papa came to visit and helped Hudson make "trails" through the tree line. When papa is down from "bernon" (Mt.Vernon) they are always up to something. They are best buddies for sure!

Little Avie Lu didn't go out much because #1 it was chilly and #2 she was dressed so darn cute I didn't want her to get all dirty! She doesn't mind though. She loves to watch from the window and knock every so often so that they know she's there watching. Aren't those pink boots adorable! yard sale peeps. You can find the cutest things at yardsales! It was my cousin Faith's sale and I think I ended up leaving there a couple of summers ago (when I was still pregnant) with like 8 Kroger sacks full of clothes and accessories! I believe Avery has more than half of Ava's clothes. Hey it's all about recycling right? I just noticed in this picture little Abby Cadaby (baby doll) has it's little hinney showing because Avery pulled her diaper down! Funny!

SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER!
Well well well what can I say. I had my first high school reunion folks! Yep, 10 year reunion! So Kev and I got all dolled up and had my mom watch the kiddos for us as we headed not very far down the street to see my peeps from HS. Don't we look cute? I really do love this picture of us. We don't really have too many of just the 2 of us and I LOVE it!

He we all are. We graduated with a total of 100 I believe, so as you can see we didn't have a fabulous turnout, but it was definately fun. We have had 2 classmates that are no longer with us. Ben Smith passed away in 2004 while serving our country and Jerry Parsons recently this year from cancer. It is sad to think that they didn't have this opportunity as we did to get together with one another and it makes you thankful for everyday that you are here. I am so thankful for my family and friends. When the days get hectic I am going to try to sit and take a deep breath and think of this more often. Thank you Ben & Jerry for reminding me of this.

Hope everyone has a lovely week!

I've been asked here recently about the bows that I make and sell. So I thought I would give you all some info.

teeny weeny bow with 1 color ribbon $2 (with alligator clip that fits in their hair without headband)

small bow with multi colored ribbon $5

medium bow with multi colored ribbon $6

Large bow with mulit colored ribbon $7

Headbands $2 each (Right now I have red, black, pink, purple, and white)I use alligator clips that way you can use them on the headband or when they get enough hair it will clip in their hair. I do have small and larger barrettes as well at no additional charge.

I also have different "charms" that I place in the center of the bow if you are looking for a certain look. (examples: princess crown, kitty, flipflops, sports themed, sunflowers, and the list goes on.)

Add a charm or bottlecap personalized with your favorite character for an additional $1.

Hope this helps a bit. If you have anymore questions let me know.

It's Fall Y'all!!!!!!!! Soccer, Halloween, football, cool weather, Hudson's birthday, and so much more...

,
Hudson is doing so well at soccer this year. Last year he seemed to be a little passive and afraid of the ball. This year is another story! The first game he scored 3 goals (2 in the right goal & 1 in the other team's.) Oh well we counted it!
On October 1st I dressed both the kiddos up in black and orange. Here they are ready to go to daycare!

Here is Hudson riding his new 4-wheeler! He was so excited about all of his gifts. He loves to give little sister rides on this one too!
Hope you all are having a great Fall! ENJOY.
