Final project

Here it is. The completed project. It was a gift for my in-laws for Christmas. It was my favorite gift that we gave to someone by far. I think I am going to make one for my house now!

Little "Peanut"

Well we have a new nickname for Avery.
Peanut.
Why? She is officially allergic to them...so we are going to be a peanut free household.
I'll post more later about the process. Please keep us in your prayers.

My favorite Christmas gifts!

#1 My new sewing/embroidery machine (now if I had enough time to use it!)
#2 This quilt piece my MIL made and framed with a saying about families being stitched together. Very clever and cute.
#3 A mini- VaCa to Crossville, TN next year for the Endless Yardsale!!!!!!!

#4 My jammies I am currently wearing from my momma! They are so soft and comfy and I am pretty sure I could wear them 24/7!

Merry Christmas recap

Do you feel as though you are swimming in a pile of paper and toys? I do. We had an excellent Christmas but boy am I ready for my house to look normal again!
Hudson (and daddy) have had fun playing this game.
Avery does NOT have an opening in her daycare! We thought it would be cute to gather all of her babies and put her in the middle. She LOVED it!

Priceless...They were watching it snow outside on Christmas. It didn't stick but it was pretty for the 10 minutes it was coming down.

Thank you Lord for my little ham babies...

Here is a sneak peak of what we have been up to lately. I can't wait to show you the final project, but we have to wait until AFTER Christmas.Look at this little ham. You put a camera in front of this boy and he doesn't stop smiling. They may be the fakest ever, but I think he's pretty darn cute.
And here he is again being silly. But I kind of like how it turned out looking through the letter. I just wish "M" stood for something for him. Maybe "Momma's boy???"

Merry Christmas from our home to yours! Remember this year the meaning of Christmas isn't all the hustle and bustle and gifts, but that our Savior was born. I wonder if Hudson has noticed that baby Jesus isn't in our nativity scene yet?

What happens in ST.Louis

stays in St.Louis, unless you want to blog about it! I had so much fun last weekend on a girls' shopping trip to the Lou. We headed to a purse flea market(wish I had taken pics) early on Saturday morning. I bought 4 purses and 3 wallets. Three of the girls go to church with me, one being my Sunday school teacher. When we were about done at the flea market I said, "This is the devil!" I could have spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on purses.
Then we headed to the St.Louis Mills Mall. I LOVE this mall. Most of the stores are outlets. Cheap and cute. My fav. We were there until closing. You know those people that get carts and push them through the mall? Yeah, I always kind of smirked when I saw them. Well, that was me last weekend. We had so many bags, even after taking some to the car, that we HAD to push carts to hall all of the bags. And it was funny because there were so many people doing the same thing.
BUT, the only thing that other people WERE NOT doing was having cart races through the mall. Let me add that it was NOT the younger girls' idea! Diana (right back) had this crazy idea that we were going to have cart races done the mall. It was a fun time...until we ran into the mall security! GIRLS HAVE GOT TO HAVE SOME FUN THOUGH!

A little this and a little of that...

I have an assistant folks! I went get my adapter to upload my pics and this is what I found when I came back to the room.

We've had a lazy Sunday. (Mommy hasn't felt so good and daddy is watching football.) But we did have two adorable visitors come by for a visit. These two kiddos are my cousins 6 month old twins. Little Molly is on the left and Aaron is on the right. hudson doesn't look too thrilled, but he enjoyed holding them. When I asked if he would like two more siblings...he didn't answer. hmmm I wonder what that is suppose to mean? I recently found out a friend of mine is prego with twins, so maybe we can just help her out alot instead of having them ourselves! Works for me.
The annual children's Christmas sing was last weekend at our church. Hudson did a fantastic job saying his part. Which is awesome, because recently he keeps telling us that he's is shy and that's why he won't talk to Santa. He thinks that writing the letter is good enough!
Oh yes, we couldn't forget little britches. Avery didn't do too well standing and singing. She wanted to be a social butterfly and run around the stage and up and down the aisle. She will not be the shy one! This is the best picture I got of her that night.

We had a nice relaxing(somewhat) Thanksgiving last week. My cousin Roxie (girl cheesing in photo below), Jason, my mom, my brother and his girlfriend, Melissa all came over to fill ourselves full! And did we ever... I had to take a picture of Avery eating her first Thanksgiving dinner. She is my little piggy. She just eats, and eats, and keeps eating! Hudson didn't do too bad himself, although he only ate mashed potatoes and mac n' cheese!

After eating we all chilled out for the rest of the day. Avery loves talking on the phone. She is talking with Aunt Roxie in this pic. She thought she was big stuff.

Oh yes, Hudson LOVES phones too...Well let me rephrase that he LOVES Aunt Roxie's IPHONE. Not to talk on it, but to play games. Hudson is getting a big surprise for Christmas...NO he is NOT getting his first cellphone at age 5, but close. But I think mommy & daddy will use it more often.
